Went into the big box up front today:
- Golden beets, 1 row
- 4 “Moneymaker” tomatoes 🍅
- 4 Ancho peppers 🌶️
- 2 rows of Danvers carrots 🥕
- 1 row of “Cosmic Red” carrots 🥕
- 3 Dino Kale 🥬
- 2 Curly Kale 🥬
- Yellow short feller (4”ish) type sunflowers 🌻
- Nasturtiums
Went into the little box up front:
- 4 bell peppers 🫑
- 1 watermelon 🍉
- Nasturtiums
Went into the front lawn:
- Red sunflowers [replacements for the ones that failed there previously] 🌻
Went into the empty bag in the back:
- 3 acorn squash
Went into rear rose bed:
- 2 Amaranth
Went into the rear driveway flower bed:
- Zinnias (replacing the ones that at first seemed to be doing great but mysteriously disappeared)
- Removed one Pearly Everlasting because it was in a very dumb spot and not having a good time
Noticed:
- The outer circumference of the large bag out back has numerous alliums of unknown type in reasonable positions, so that area is active
- There also appear to be a few carrots growing in a tiny sliver of this inner circle, which is cute
- There are definitely some onions growing in the far back of the rear large wide bed
- Also definitely successful I wanna say shallots in the rear small wide bed which currently has last year’s leeks growing there
Notes:
- I still have celosia seeds that will need a home
- I would love to find a rear location for another watermelon plant
- I cut back every green that needed cutting back, which was Gourmet Greens, Spinach (baby sized leaves), and Arugula and made a lil salad for myself of just the leaf mix and evoo + s&p, it was very tasty, but not that filling. The Gourmet Greens were definitely the star. Very good loose leaf lettuce. All the heads are doing well but they need more time
